    Add-on

    Grommet replacement

Grommets protect your strings where they pass through the frame. Cracked or missing grommets are a common reason strings break early.

You just pay for the grommets themselves, and Nate checks the cost with you before replacing any.

    Optional add-on

    Delivery

You drop your racquet off with Nate. Want the finished racquet brought to you? $5 per mile, one way, $5 minimum. Tap your zip code for an approximate price, or enter your address for the exact one.

    FAQ

    Common questions

I don't know my string or tension. Is that a problem?

No. Tell us how you play and we'll suggest a setup. After the first job, your string and tension stay on file.

Why do my strings lose tension so fast?

All strings lose a little tension over time. A big drop in the first few days usually means the knots were tied poorly. Nate ties every knot properly, so your racquet holds the tension you asked for.

Which string is best for beginners?

Forten Sweet (synthetic gut) or Head Velocity MLT (multifilament). Both are soft, comfortable, and easy on the arm.

    How often should I restring?

Strings lose tension with play, even if they never break. Once the racquet feels dead or less controlled, it's time to restring.

Can I bring my own string?

Yes. You just pay for labor: $20 for the first racquet and $15 for each one after.

    What does a hybrid cost?

Pick Hybrid in the string section above and choose your mains and crosses. It shows the price right away.
